Our Work For Valve Solutions

Process control valves are most useful in situations that require precise control over fluids, steam, and gases. Process control valves allow for the management of flow rates of fluids, liquids, or gases and the management of temperature, pressure, and level. Of course, a different valve is most suitable for each of these applications.

Also, the valve type depends on the pipe’s size, the overall pressure present in the fluid processing system, and process conditions, among other factors.

The material used for producing a process control valve depends on the application to achieve the desired flow rates of fluids, controls valves use a simple but effective mechanism of opening and closing powered by electrical, or pneumatic actuators. Process control valves usually consist of a valve actuator, positioner, and body.

While most valves are made from metal, valves for hygienic applications are almost exclusively manufactured using stainless steel.

Product Design

Product Design

At Sterling Valves and Controls, we collaborate with our clients to understand the application of the product for its intended use and try to offer the best solution. All the products are manufactured as per standards in use by our user industry, the products are developed in accordance with standards such as ISO, ASME, API, ASTM, BS EN, NACE amongst others.

Incoming Quality Check

We monitor control and ensure that manufactured products adhere to a defined set of quality criteria and meet the requirements of the customer. All materials are PM! checked 100% during Inward and 100% MTCs are offered for all types of MOCs. Any special tests required as per the Industry standard are also carried out based on the project or customer requirements.

Automated Machining

The precision of machining, the degree of automation, flexibility, and the machining of complex components from a single source set us apart. With our machining capability, we are able to process a wide range of materials in both standard and exotic types ranging from Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Duplex Steel Grades, and even Alloy steel.

100% In-Process QC

We monitor control with 100% of all In-process components and maintain 100% traceability for all the components as per Bills-of-Material to ensure precision manufacturing of our Valves.

Product Assembly

Assembly is a very critical and important activity of the entire manufacturing process, before the valve components are taken up for assembly the quality supervisor ensures a pre-assembly check which includes visual inspection and dimension check of the machined components. All the skilled workers and supervisors work to the strict procedures to deliver quality products assembled impeccably.

100% Quality Testing

All tests are performed under controlled conditions and are carried out in perfect safety. During Valve tests, the supervising engineer ensures the valve meets the requirements as per the Testing standards such as API 598, EN 12266-1. Depending on the client’s requirements, All the valves are subjected to 100% testing.

Shot Blasting & Painting

At Sterling Valves and Controls, we perform a Shot blasting process for preparing or cleaning the surface by propelling a stream of abrasive material toward it. Once the surface is ready for painting we offer a single-coat or multi-coat epoxy and polyurethane systems as per our standard procedure or as per customer requirements

Tagging & Packing

At the final stage, once the product is ready, all the Valves are marked as per the standard’s requirements, and each valve is either laser engraved or fitted with SS nameplates and rivets as per the Customer’s requirements. Each Consignment is then provided with a detailed packing list and complete tracking details for ease of delivery.
